Custom Roof Racks for Vans, Trucks, and SUVs
All Aluminum custom roof racks are made to support expedition equipment, auxiliary lighting, solar panels, and/or a walkway for RV roof maintenance.
This one has an air foil on the front for aerodynamics and on the rear to help keep rear windows cleaner while at speed.
Equipment and panel supports can be configured to your needs. This one is set up for three (3) 180 Watt solar panels that can tip up to 45° either way, side to side.
The design in the pictures is all 6061 T6 welded aluminum, set up for Mercedes Sprinter factory roof rails. Since all roof racks are custom, most applications are available. Racks are spaced 4″ ± off the roof surface to be able to thoroughly clean underneath.
The one pictured is made out of 1″ square aluminum tubing (1/8″ wall) with 1/4″ x 3″ slats. It is about 15′ long, 5′ 6″ wide, weights approximately 230 lbs. Racks are treated to accept paint and primered in satin black. Each expedition roof rack is custom. (i.e. – location and size of equipment being installed, location and quantity of mounts, and overall dimensions of roof rack)

NOTE: Solar panels and lights not included. All accessories shown are of example equipment that can be mounted to the roof rack.
Ladder Option
Roof rack access ladder breaks down into two (2) 4′ ± sections that pin together. It is designed to work with our Expedition Roof Rack. It hooks on the top rail of the rack and can locate anywhere along the sides. Ladder rests on the pads against the plastic body insert on a Sprinter van. If vehicle is other than a Sprinter High Roof, then you will need to contact us for options.
The ladder is made of 1″ square, 1/8″ think wall, aluminum tubing. Primered with the same coating as our Expedition Roof Rack. Ladders have been tested to 200-pound load.
